While we’ll do everything in our power to ensure that you’re thrilled with our industry-leading additives & lubricants, we also know situations can occur that simply need to be rectified. Our Returns & Returns Policy briefly outlines our expectations for our customers and affirms our commitment to you. Thank you for being a Fuel Ox customer 👍

Fuel Ox’s return & exchange window lasts 30 days from the date of purchase. If more than 30 days have passed since your order, any returns/exchanges qualify for store credit. Unless a prior return authorization has been issued, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging to be eligible for a return. To expedite the returns/exchange process, please have a receipt or proof of purchase ready. In the meantime, do not bring your purchase back to the retailer.

Do note that there are certain situations where we may refuse or  only issue partial refunds due to:

  • The product showing obvious signs of use or alteration, and no return authorization was issued.
  • A once-sealed item has since been opened, and no return authorization was issued.
  • Any item isn’t in its original condition, is damaged, or is missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item is returned more than 30 days after delivery.

Return Process

Your satisfaction is our highest priority, as such we have worked hard to make returns/exchanges easy for you! In order to ensure safe & secure handling of your product return/exchange, please adhere to the following process:

  1. Contact Fuel Ox and let us know about your issue. Give us a chance to make things right over the phone – you might be surprised at what we’ll do to ensure you are thrilled with Fuel Ox®.
  2. After we discuss your return/exchange, and if you’re still not happy with your purchase, just send the unused portion of your product(s) to the address listed on this page.
  3. Once your product(s) have been shipped back to us, please email proof of purchase (receipt, email, order number, etc.) and your return’s tracking number to info@fuelox.com so we know which order to refund/exchange and which parcel is yours!

Please Note: All three steps above must be completed in order to streamline the process and ensure you receive your full & timely refund/exchange.

Sale Items

Only regularly-priced items typically qualify for return/exchange. This means that discounted items usually cannot be refunded.


Gift returns/exchanges can be handled one of two ways.

  1. If the item in question was marked as a gift when purchased & shipped directly to you, you’ll receive an account credit for your return once it’s received and inspected.
  2. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift-giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we’ll notify them about the issue once we approve your refund request. After receiving and inspecting your return, we’ll send them a refund directly to their account or method of payment right away.


As soon as your return is received & inspected, we’ll send you an email to notify you that we’ve received your returned item, and we’ll inform you of your refund’s approval or rejection.

If your refund is approved, it will be processed immediately. A credit will automatically be applied to your Fuel Ox account or original method of payment, at our discretion. Some banks can take up to 10 business days to credit your account following an approved refund, but we often see them releasing funds in 2-3 days…sometimes even sooner! If you’re original order was paid with cash, we’ll either credit your Fuel Ox account with the amount or we’ll confirm a proper shipping address so we may promptly mail you a check.

While rare, if your return is rejected, we’ll be in touch to discuss next steps.

Late/Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund within 10 business days of us issuing it:

  1. First, check your bank/card account again.
  2. Then, contact your bank or card issuer – it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  3. Finally, if you’ve done all of the above and are still not seeing your refund, email info@fuelox.com or send a message through our contact form and we’ll take a look for you.


We only replace items if they’re defective or damaged BEFORE they were purchased by the customer. If you’re looking to exchange a product for the same item, then send us a quick message. We’ll review your exchange request take it from there.

Unless otherwise specified, shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

Because we don’t control the logistics involved with any mail couriers, we cannot guarantee that we’ll receive your returned item. As such, unless we send you a Return Shipping Label, and if you’re returning more expensive items, perhaps consider purchasing a trackable shipping service & insurance.
