High school junior, 16, has recorded 46 feature wins in his short time behind the wheel.
Tyler, a high school junior, has recorded 46 feature wins in his short time behind the wheel. He was named the “A wing class” Champion at the US 24 Speedway, won the Indiana State Championship Series for Quarter Midgets cars and was named Rookie of the Year at Miami County Speedway.
In 2020, Tyler started racing a 305 sprint car that can reach speeds up to 120 mph, a perfect candidate for the Infinity Lube suite of products. Additionally, the team uses the Fuel Ox fuel additives on the truck used to tow the race car to events and all pit equipment.
Tyler’s crew, under the tutelage of Tyler’s grandfather, Mike Lowman, of Kokomo, also a veteran race car driver, began using the Infinity Lube products on the race car to improve maintenance and performance.
“We use the Infinity Lube Super Spray on just about everything, including places where we used to use grease, from the heim joints to the torque ball,” Lowman said. “It’s taking the place of a standard grease, which means no mess and easier clean up.”
The team also uses the Infinity Lube Super Grease on the torsion bars and the Friction Eliminator in the engine oil and rear-end components.
“Since we started using the Infinity Lube products, the car is a lot freer,” Lowman said. “When we roll it out of the garage, it just rolls smoothly without anything behind it. We are seeing a benefit as the car stays cleaner longer, and we are seeing some benefits to performance on the track.”
When dealing with a sprint car, the crew spends more time with the car in the garage than on the track practicing. Lowman credited the Infinity Lube products with keeping the engine parts cleaner, an important benefit for the race car that gets dirty on the tracks and needs to be taken apart on a near nightly basis to check every single nut and bolt.
“I’m putting a 16-year-old kid in that car, not to mention the fact that he’s my grandson – I rely on these products to make sure that we are doing everything possible to keep him safe and the car in great working condition,” Lowman said.
Additionally, Lowman said he uses Infinity Lube fuel additive in his personal truck, which he uses to transport the race car, and he has noticed an improvement of fuel efficiency between 9 to 13 miles per gallon.
The expansion into motorsports is a next step for ISG, as it continues to grow its brands and product portfolio and expand into new markets and geographies, said CEO Rand Taylor.
ISG’s primary products – Fuel Ox fuel additives and Infinity Lube lubricants – use patented, proprietary technologies that substantially reduce environmental impacts, improve equipment performance, life and durability, lower operating costs and, in the case of the additives, increase fuel efficiency. The additive and lubrication products were developed for heavy duty trucks, buses, service vehicles, marine vessels, heavy equipment and virtually any machinery.
While Fuel Ox additives are made for fossil-fuel engines, Infinity Lube products can help sprint cars, which reach very high speeds on oval tracks, often racing during hot summer months, keep the precision engines and other components running optimally.
Unlike conventional lubricants that just add temporary coatings to reduce friction and displace water, Infinity Lube contains HDI-2500, a patented conditioning compound that enables the carbonitriding, or case hardening, of metal friction points. It is available as a liquid for oil reservoirs, as a grease and spray.
“Our full-service suite of products offers a total sustainability solution – boosting fuel efficiency, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving equipment durability — and we are proud of our role to help fleet owners manage their costs and reduce their environmental impact,” said Rand Taylor. “We are also proud of our role to help Tyler Miller and his crew maintain their sprint car and help Tyler win even more races. This entry into motorsports is a great way to highlight what Fuel Ox additives and Infinity Lube products can do for all vehicles and engines.”
As for Tyler, the junior at Western High School in Russiaville, Indiana, he is focused on a number of Midwest races to elevate his profile this year in the sprint car world.
“This year feels different,” he said, pointing to the higher level of competition he is engaging in now and the momentum for the team. “We’re all glad that ISG is taking a chance on me and the team to sponsor us as we head into the busy summer racing season.”

About ISG
Industrial Sustainability Group (ISG) manufactures and markets fuel additives and lubricants to help truck, marine vessel, heavy equipment and machine operators sustainably improve the fuel efficiency, operating life and performance of their equipment while reducing maintenance costs, equipment downtime, emissions and pollutants. The company’s flagship product, Fuel Ox with Combustion Catalyst, comes in a variety of seasonal and application-specific formulas. Infinity Lube complements the Fuel Ox fuel additives with a proprietary formula that lubricates, conditions and hardens metal machine parts, reducing friction and operating temperatures and sustainably improving durability and performance.
Companies interested in testing Fuel Ox fuel additives and Infinity Lube products in their fleets and heavy machinery or retailing Fuel Ox products may call Alec Taylor, ISG director of operations, at (844) 8FUELOX for a consultation. Infinity Lube Lubricants
Industrial Sustainability Group recently expanded its portfolio to include Infinity Lube, a line of liquid, spray and grease lubricants formulated with a plant-based technology that goes beyond simple lubricity to substantially improve performance, durability and operating life of engines and virtually any other metal machinery.
Unlike conventional lubricants, which merely add a temporary film layer and coating to reduce friction and displace water, Infinity Lube™ products contain HDI-2500, a patented conditioning compound that enables the carbonitriding, or case hardening, of metal friction points in machinery. As temperatures increase, the carbonitriding process diffuses carbon and nitrogen into metal to create a smooth, super-hard protective alloy layer that reduces friction, lowers operating temperatures and substantially decreases wear and tear of vital machine components. Using Infinity Lube increases lubrication up to 20 to 40 times longer than conventional lubricants and as much as triples the length of time between oil changes.
Fuel Ox Additives
Fuel Ox is differentiated from conventional fuel additives by a patented organometallic combustion catalyst that oxygenates and lowers the ignition point of fuel to produce a more efficient combustion cycle in any engine that runs on petroleum-based fuels. Adding one ounce of Fuel Ox to 80 gallons of fuel (or 1 gallon for every 10,000 gallons) can improve fuel efficiency 7 to 12 percent or more depending on operating conditions and fuel quality. The improved combustion cycle reduces soot by more than 50 percent while also cutting carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxide emissions by 20 percent and 10 percent, respectively. In addition to reducing air pollution and greenhouses gases, Fuel Ox reduces soot buildup in engines and diesel particulate filters (DPF), prolonging DPF life while reducing equipment downtime from manual DPF regenerations by 60 percent as well as other costly repairs and maintenance.
